Double Wedding Ring Quilts Made By Other Quilters

In trying recreate this blog, I am only able to re-post the pictures of the quilters and the quilts made and shared by 2 other quilters, Christine Austin and Sharon Jones (next post).

The interview I had with Christine is also gone.  I remember Christine telling me that she made this quilt from pieces of her grandmother’s clothing, so it is a very special Double Wedding Ring quilt for the whole family.

Christine’s quilt is made a little differently, in that she chose to make the Double Wedding Ring the center of her quilt.  A very different look but that is what quilting is all about – making it your OWN and the way YOU choose to.

It is a sad thing when someone destroys the work of others just for their own enjoyment.
